At Christine's Hope....
We BELIEVE every child deserves the chance to be a kid regardless of their circumstances. We HELP create the next generation of community leaders by teaching kids how to help other kids. We give HOPE to tens of thousands of children whether we are making a donation to a YMCA for kids to go to camp or involving student volunteers to pack pajama bags for children in shelters. We make a DIFFERENCE in our local communities through the generosity of donors and volunteers.

A warm meal, a welcoming smile, and a community coming together. Thatā€™s what Thanksgiving is all about!

CHFK is so happy to once again sponsor the annual Thanksgiving Feast with our wonderful friends at Hearts of Skylar!

For families and individuals facing difficult times, a warm holiday meal means so much more than food. Itā€™s a reminder that they are cared for, supported, and never forgotten.

ā™„ļø Some people retire from their jobs, but never from their purpose. Enter Ms. Rice! ā™„ļø

Last year, Ms. Rice officially ā€œretiredā€ from Monument School in Trenton, but youā€™d never know it. She may just be the hardest-working retired person we know!

A longtime friend of CHFK and a tireless advocate for Trentonā€™s kids, Ms. Rice never stops giving. From packing and distributing Bags for Kids to delivering warm coats, books, and countless other essentials, she is always finding ways to make a difference.

Recently, she surprised us with the most heartwarming thank-you artwork created by the children of Monument School.

Ms. Rice, YOU are the one who deserves the thank-you! Your kindness, dedication, and love for these children go far beyond the classroom. You are creating lasting memories and leaving a beautiful legacy throughout your community.

šŸŽƒšŸ‚ CHFK is spreading a little Halloween magic throughout our local community!

Weā€™re excited to once again sponsor Millhill Child & Family Developmentā€™s Annual Fall Fest in Trenton and Fishermanā€™s Markā€™s Spooktacular Trunk or Treat in Lambertville!

Weā€™re also providing Halloween treats to the Center for Child & Family Achievement (CCFA) for children attending Cadwalader School, Sprout U, and Monument School!

A special shoutout to our VIP volunteer and donor, Dawn Holst, who helped us this week with decorations and plenty of candy to help us get ready! Weā€™re so grateful for her continued support.

Supporting local organizations that create fun, memorable experiences for kids is what CHFK is all about!

CHFK is proud to kick off our 7th annual Tom Suarez Coats for Kids drive, honoring the memory of our beloved Board member, Tom Suarez.

Over the years, this initiative has provided 1,200+ new warm coats to children in need, helping them stay safe and warm through the cold months.

Just $25 = 1 brand new coat for a child who truly needs it. Together, we can continue Tomā€™s legacy of hope and kindness.

As we settle into fall, weā€™re looking back at some of the smiles CHFK helped create this summer!

Our Summer Fun Bags reached kids throughout our local community, including children at the Center for Child & Family Achievement (CCFA) in Trenton. Filled with summer goodies and made even more special with books and additional donations from CCFAā€™s wonderful partners, these bags gave kids a chance to simply be kids and enjoy summer. šŸ’™

As CCFA founder Wanda Webster so beautifully shared, the children ā€œfelt seen, loved and special.ā€ Thatā€™s what itā€™s all about.

Thank you to everyone who helps us continue bringing a little hope and happiness to local kids, season after season!

One of our favorite fall traditions! Each year, CHFK is proud to support Millhill Child & Family Developmentā€™s Trunk or Treat, helping create a fun and special afternoon for their preschool families.
