SRI’s Qurbani for a Cause campaign has begun! SRI will be distributing Qurbani meat to some of the poorest families in remote rural villages in Pakistan.
To make sure your donation goes towards the Qurbani project, please put “Qurbani” in the memo when you donate.
Estimated Cost of small sheep = $200 (feeds 5 families for two days)
Estimated Cost of large sheep = $250 (feeds 7 families for two days)

The Chairperson of Swat Relief Initiative, Ms. Zebunisa Arshad Jilani, successfully resolved the long standing clean drinking water problem of the residents of Spal Bandai, Islampur. The community had been facing this issue for several months. A clean water well has now been provided for the local people. The residents warmly welcomed her visit and expressed their sincere thanks for this valuable support.

SRI’s Health Progam for mother and childcare and malnutrition prevention seminars:
SRI’s biggest impact comes from early screening and immediate treatment.
When a child is screened and found to be malnourished, we start treatment right away—bringing them out of immediate suffering and continuing care until full recovery.
We do the same for pregnant and lactating women who are anemic or nutritionally depleted.

Alongside treatment, we strengthen families through practical, low-cost interventions including: counselling and caregiver education, breastfeeding guidance, hygiene awareness, simple recipes using locally available foods, and support for water, sanitation, and household-level improvements that cost little or nothing.

Swat Relief Initiative distributed warm sweaters to deserving students at Wadudia School in Saidu Sharif. This activity was part of SRI’s ongoing effort to support children who face financial challenges, especially during the winter season.

During the visit, the team shared that SRI’s aim is to help every student who struggles with basic needs. Providing sweaters is a small but meaningful step to ensure that children stay comfortable and focused on their education.

SRI’s broader mission is to stand with the needy people of Swat and offer support where it is most needed. The organization continues to work closely with communities to improve the lives of vulnerable families.
