Cascade Mills Falls.

Historic. Invigorating.

A little reminder to pause along the way.

If you’re looking for us, we’ll be on the Outlet Trail.

Or in a live stream.

Some flowers spotted along the outlet trail this spring by Judy Erwin. Most of them wildflowers.

It's not Niagara falls, but milk is churning at Seneca Mills Falls. What better way to spend some time on a day in the mid 60s. Come on out and see for yourself!

This pair of classy looking heart shaped shades were found on the trail just a wee bit west of the Hopeton access point. They were left in this spot on the kiosk across the trail. Hopefully they find their way back to their rightful home.

Just a few steps east of the chimney stack, this forgotten little nook is home to a splendid waterfall. For most of the year, this falls dries up, but after the occasional heavy downpour or during the wet spring rains it transforms into one of the focal points of the trail. Come see it while it is still flowing! It will be dry again before you know it.

It's been another incredible week of perfect trail weather. The forecast has it trending more of the same. Get out on the trail and share some of your photos. We are nearing peak foliage and there are still a lot of leaves left on the trees. As you approach the Dresden end of the trail, you will pass under the Route 14 bridge and have this one last climb to make it to the parking lot. The area to the west of Dresden is one of the more diverse, with open grassy spaces, plenty of wooded seclusion, and a few bridges to cross. This is also an area with a handful of short side trails to enjoy the banks of the Minnesetah.

Have you ever been walking down the trail and thought to yourself, "it sure would be nice if .......", or "I really wish they had or would do ........."? Or even, "why the heck are they doing it that way instead of just doing it this way"? Do you wish you had a say in all of that, or feel you have something to contribute? If so, perhaps you should consider a position on the Friends of the Outlet Board. We meet every third Wednesday of the month around 6 or 7pm and discuss all matters related to the trail. There are currently slots open and we welcome everyone to take part whether they are members or just interested to see the process. If you want your voice heard where the trail is concerned, there is no better way to accomplish that then coming to the board meetings. We look forward to seeing you there!

Wouldn't it be great to be able to camp in a nice secluded area next to the Keuka Outlet Trail and be able to have this beautiful Lean-To all to yourself with plenty of surrounding firewood and a grill to boot? You can! And there are still a couple weeks left in the season before the Campground closes. With our warm weather lately it would be the perfect way to spend an early fall weekend. https://www.keukaoutlettrail.org/campground
