Feel the rhythm in Dance, where music moves your feet and energy fills the air. From upbeat group routines to freestyle fun, it’s all about expression and joy.

And in Guitar, you’ll strum your way into the heart of campfire nights. Learn new chords, play your favorite tunes, and share music that brings people together.

Camp Cory is having an Open House this Sunday, June 7th 2-5pm!

Come bring your family and experience the magic of Camp Cory! Camp tours are offered every 15 minutes by our experienced Camp Cory staff. After exploring the grounds and asking all your questions, jump into classic camp fun like canoeing and kayaking at the waterfront, archery, the bounce pillow and the zipline.

Welcome to Camp Cory's Fishing and Outdoor Cooking Program Areas! 🍳🎣

Here, the lake is your playground and the campfire is your stage. Cast your line into the shimmering water, feel the excitement of a bite, and reel in your catch, then gently return it to the lake where it belongs. Our fishing area is all about patience, skill, and the joy of connecting with nature.

In our outdoor cooking area, the flavors come alive over open flames and sizzling pans. Learn how to prepare tasty campfire meals, try your hand at creative recipes, and enjoy the magic of cooking under the open sky!

Whether you’re reeling in a lively bass or flipping pancakes on the griddle, these program areas are all about fun, friendship, and making memories you’ll carry long after camp ends!

Camp Cory is thrilled to announce the 2026 Spirit of Cory Award Winners, who will be recognized at our upcoming 105th anniversary celebration!

The Spirit of Cory is awarded to those whose presence personifies:
The initiative to HELP THE OTHER FELLOW
The commitment toward SERVICE in creating and strengthening the spaces where we live, work and play
DEDICATION to carrying the Spirit of Cory forward

The winners of the 2026 Spirit of Cory are Henry T. (Mike) Maijgren and Robert "Bo" Shoemaker!

Henry T. "Mike" Maijgren:
Among the first campers (Tent #5) and assistant bugler in 1922, Mike became a Junior Leader and then Senior Counselor, serving on the staff until 1932. Later he was President of the Camp Cory Board of Management. He spent a lifetime committed to the development and growth of Cory.

Robert "Bo" Shoemaker:
Since 2000, Bo has been instrumental to the success of Camp Cory, holding positions like Maijgren Village Head, Leadership Director and Program Director during his 11 years on staff. Bo is the author of "A History of Camp Cory" that was published in 2011, and it contains all of what was previously published as The Songs and Stories of Camp Cory. This was done after putting together years of information as Camp Historian. Bo has obtained history degrees from SUNY Geneseo and Fordham University. After that, he attended law school at Syracuse University (J.D.) and SUNY Buffalo Law School (LL.M. -- criminal law). He has been an assistant district attorney in Monroe and Genesee Counties, and is currently Deputy County Attorney for the Monroe County Law Department.

🍦✨ Camp Cory Ice Cream Challenge! ✨🍦

It’s your time to get creative! Using the steps in this post, design your very own ice cream flavor for a chance to win some awesome Camp Cory swag 🎉

The winning flavor will be brought to life and featured in July at Dippity Do Dahs, a homemade ice cream shop located in Corning, NY! And even sweeter, a portion of the proceeds will go toward helping send children to camp!
