Ruonan Hui has enjoyed her first summer as a camp counselor here at Camp Cory, as she is one of the first staff to join us in our international program from China.

As a schoolteacher herself, Ruonan loved seeing kids enjoy camp's reading program this summer. But as someone whose first language is not English, she has learned from her kids just as much as they have learned from the program. 📚

Ryby's Why: The people I've met and the connections I've made over the past few years have truly shaped the person I am today and continue to inspire me as I grow into the person I hope to become. I'm beyond grateful for everything this camp has meant to me, and I'm so excited for the opportunity to give back and create that same kind of impact for my campers.
