Preparations are ramping up for this year's summer community concert series. We hope you're planning to join us for a celebration of music, sunshine and community spirit . Every Wednesday evening from June 24th through August 12th our courthouse lawn will come alive with the sounds of talented musicians from across our region. More details to follow!
* June 25th - Decades Band (Timeless Hits)
* July 1st - Southern Tier All Star Jazz Band (Big Band Sounds)
* July 8th - Finger Lakes Chamber Music Festival (Classical with a Twist)
* July 15th - Community Chorus (Hometown Favorites)
* July 22rd - Irish Lassies (American Celtic)
* July 29th - Blue Eyed Soul (Rock/Soul)
* August 5th - Community Band (Hometown Favorites)
* August 12th - Lyin Eyes (Eagles Tribute)

Join us as we launch our 2026 summer community concert series with an opening night performance by The Decades Band! This talented group of musicians will take us on a musical journey that spans the 1950s to the 2000s creating a fun and nostalgic experience for all generations. We are happy to announce that the renowned six-piece American Celtic band, The Irish Lassies, has signed on for the 2026 concert season! Their music celebrates heritage and storytelling through masterful instrumentals and beautiful vocal harmonies. Stay tuned for concert dates and details!

We are thrilled to share that the Southern Tier All Star Jazz Band will be joining our 2026 season lineup. And, as always, we are so happy to welcome back the Penn Yan Community Chorus and the Community Band!

The Yates Concert Series board mourns the passing of one of its long-standing members, Barbara Stewart. Her leadership skills, love of music, and dedication to her community are what helped to make this series successful. Barb also brought warmth, humor, and heart to every meeting. She is deeply missed.

As our 2025 season has come to a close, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the talented musicians, generous sponsors, our incredible audience, sound technicians, and the First Baptist Church for the use of their facilities as well as hosting a wonderful cookout before each performance. All of you have played a vital role in making this a true community event. We can't wait to see you all again next season!
