Hannah provides compassionate, evidence-based support for breastfeeding and infant feeding, along with birth education and doula care to help families feel informed, prepared, and confident as they welcome their little ones.

🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🎀

As we think about breast cancer this month, we’re especially thinking of the moms who are in the thick of raising little ones — the tired mornings, the endless cuddles, the feedings, the diaper changes, and all the little moments that make motherhood so special. 💗

Did you know that women who breastfeed have a lower risk of developing breast cancer? The longer a woman breastfeeds over her lifetime, the greater the reduction in risk. It’s just one of the many amazing ways our bodies were designed for motherhood. What an incredible reminder of the intricate design and purpose God has woven into our bodies. 🤍

Whether you’re breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, pumping, or doing some combination of it all, your worth as a mother is not measured by how you feed your baby. Every mom deserves encouragement, support, and care.

This October, take a moment to care for yourself, too. Make time for recommended screenings, know what’s normal for your body, and don’t ignore changes that concern you.

💗 Mamas, you spend so much time caring for everyone else. Don’t forget to care for yourself.

❄️🧤 Help keep a child warm this winter! 🧥❄️

Care Net Penn Yan is collecting new or gently used winter coats, hats, and gloves of all sizes for our Winter Coat Drive! All donations will be sent to the Yates Christmas Program and distributed to children and families in need. ❤️

🍂 Come enjoy an afternoon of fun, community, and fall! 🍁

Care Net will be joining the Dundee Children’s Center for this fun-filled community event on Sunday, September 27th from 2–6 PM at Spring Street Park in Dundee! ❤️

We’ll have a booth where you can stop by, say hello, learn more about Care Net, and enter our raffle for some beautiful fall décor! 🍁🎃

There will also be vendors, games & activities, touch-a-truck, a dunk tank, concessions, photo ops, raffles, and more! Plus, NYS Troopers will be offering car seat safety checks from 2–5 PM.

🎟️ Some activities will require tickets, with proceeds helping support this wonderful community event.
