There are approximately 180 Revolutionary War Veterans whose final resting place is in Yates County. These are the stories of two of them.

🚨 CALLING VETERANS! 🚨 Would you like to participate in this weekend’s Fourth of July parade in Branchport? 🎆

We have plenty of space on our float to accommodate chairs and those who would like to stand. Veterans are also welcome to march with us behind the float.

Fourth of July weekend will be here before we know it! 🇺🇸

We hope you will join us for two great events that will kick-off a year of commemoration, celebrating America’s birthday, and honoring our Revolutionary War veterans:

The Fourth of July Parade in Branchport, NY! Yates County Celebrates America250 will be sponsoring floats showcasing America! 🇺🇸

On Sunday, July 5th, we will be sponsoring “Freedom in Faith” County-Wide Worship Service at the historic Rock Stream Presbyterian Church. Services will commence at 2pm, with a free community ice cream social & family fun to follow! All faiths and followings are welcome to attend! ⛪️
