Located in the heart of the Finger Lakes Region of Upstate NY, we have some of the most scenic trails in New York. Welcome to YASTA!

YASTA was founded in 1969 by snowmobile enthusiasts and was incorporated in 1970. This snowmobile club is active, devoted, and enthusiastic about the club and riding of course. We have great connections with adjoining clubs which makes our club rides some of the best you can ever participate in. We have members with years of experience riding in Yates and surrounding counties, which makes our boun

MUCK TRAIL
>Rideable conditions - not too bad!
>The ruts are on the east edge of the trail

Met 3 riders at Ferguson Corners Rd. - They were on YASTA trails for the 1st time - It was nice talking to them - Very friendly - This is one of the things that makes snowmobiling special!

YASTA TRAIL NEWS:
MUCK TRAIL FROM FERGUSON CORNERS RD TO POTTER
>Someone took a truck on the trail to pick up a disabled sled from W Swamp Rd
>They got stuck!!!!
>They had a tractor and another truck get them out
>Ruts at least 4 miles from Ferguson Corners heading south
>Rideable BUT NEEDS to be packed down
>PLEASE use extreme caution!!!

YASTA TRAIL UPDATE:
OUTLET TRAIL
> The trail is open Thursday, Jan 29th
> Construction in the Playground Area will reconvene on Friday, 1/30/26
> The section from Liberty St to Cherry St will be closed starting Friday, 1/30. Signs will be posted at Cherry St
> Cherry St to Dresden can be used! DO NOT RIDE ON STREETS TO ACCESS THE TRAIL!
> Barricades will be re-installed
> Failure to follow this posting can jeopardize use of this trail in the future
> Lake St. Gas Station will still be accessible, with some maneuvering, after the pedestrian bridge
