The kids worked so hard and showed true dedication through the good times and the hard times all summer long to raise outstanding pigs for the fair! 🎡🐖

There is a wonderful saying that fits our group perfectly: "The true prize is not in the ribbon, but in the raising.
We have outstanding fai& kids.❤️🤗
Miss Abigail made it in the drive in Novice showmanship.
Addisyn made it into the drive for intermediate & we placed, 2nds &, thrids and fourth in market.
The gift was how they all worked together!

Whether you’re stepping into the ring for the first time or prepping for your next major banner drive, there is something here for every exhibitor.

Nevada County Fairgrounds
Enjoy a fun community activity, working with family, friends, 4-H and FFA

Help raise money for youth scholarships
Drinks and snacks provided
Bring gloves, rakes, shovels and your best friend
Just come to the barn area to find the crowd
Bring your trailer for a FREE compost load!

Banners, buckles & ribbons for Mattie Koster and Walker Jackson!

Penn Valley Pygmy Goats took home Best Wether and Best Doe at the fair!!

Walker also placed 1st in Junior Showmanship!

Our Senior Showman, Ava Moyer, placed second in a very competitive showmanship class.

All the kids worked so hard this year, and gave it their all today! There were lots of first and seconds in breed classes!

The fair runs through Sunday so make sure you stop by and say hi!

Whites distribution is tomorrow!! This is a loan program where you borrow the whites and then return them at fair to be used next year.
Great opportunity to get your fair uniform dialed in.
