The first day of our "Basic Wall Shelf" course was well-received. The students learned to dismantle a pallet, extract unwanted nails, cut using a miter saw, and sand with a grinder. The students demonstrated notable proficiency. We eagerly anticipate sharing their completed projects this Thursday.

Last year Fisher of Women focused on the youth, mainly the highschoolers. We provided volunteer opportunities for them. This was just one of the volunteer opportunities they had at the Peñitas Public Library. This summer we will continue with the same opportunities.

We had a beautiful and successful 3 day class on How to make a garden bench. I am very proud of these strong women who created quality work each adding their own touch to the project!
