If you’ve already supported CAMBA by starting or renewing your membership for 2026, THANK YOU. If not, now is the perfect time to support the trails, programs, and advocacy that make mountain biking in Northeast Ohio thrive. Read on to see how CAMBA is supporting the community.
Your contribution of just a few dollars a month to CAMBA allows us to continue this great work! https://www.imba.com/join/chapter/camba

In 2025, CAMBA made investments of $14,000 in Northeast Ohio mountain biking, supporting trail maintenance and development as well as working to grow our community. Included in this investment was a grant of $2500 to the North Coast Gnarwhals.

CAMBA is excited to announce that by the end of June, the new Ohio Mountain Bike License Plate will be available! Featuring the Great Seal of Ohio, stylized with a mountain bike, this plate is a perfect way to show your support for our incredible mountain bike trails in the region.

Your purchase of this plate not only shows off your mountain biking pride but also helps fund important trail advocacy and maintenance efforts. Thanks to the Ohio Trails Partnership, $5 million has been allocated to trail maintenance, with $1 million each going to hiking, biking, water trails, rail trails, and equestrian trails.

Proceeds from the mountain bike plate will go to the Ohio Mountain Biking Association (OMBA) and support state-level trail advocacy funding. This is a huge step toward securing more resources for mountain biking trails across the state and one of the few mountain biking-specific license plates in the nation!

By displaying this plate, you’re helping to make a lasting impact on Ohio’s trail systems. Let’s keep building and improving the trails we love!

AND THE WINNER IS…….

At CAMBA’s Monthly club meeting on Monday night, the drawing for the Kona Fire Mountain 27.5 mountain bike was held. We debuted this drawing at our Annual Winter Social in January. Individuals who purchased raffle tickets or renewed/joined during the period January 25, 2025 - March 10, 2025 were entered into the drawing. Greg Boehnlein’s name was drawn and as he was in attendance for the meeting, immediately donated the bike to Northeast Ohio’s National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) team the North Coast Gnarwals Mountain Bike Team. Several Gnarwal coaches were also in attendance and head coach Brian Bilinovich appreciatively accepted the bike on behalf of the team. See the comments for a video and pictures of the drawing.

Thank you to Greg for this donation to the Gnarwals and a VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU to Blimp City Bike & Hike for their very generous donation of the Kona Fire Mountain! Also, thank you to everyone who purchased tickets to this raffle, over $700 was raised and will go into CAMBA’s 2025 trail fund. If you would like more information on CAMBA and our trail funding projects visit

CAMBA is a group of Northeast Ohio mountain bikers dedicated to helping Cleveland live up to its potential of becoming one of the best urban riding locations in the United States.
