Caden Update: I know it’s been a while for a Caden update, it’s been very busy lately… Caden went and saw his hepatologist near the end of May. We received probably the best news we could get! Cadens blood work came back and his doctor said his liver appears to be functioning the way it should and that Caden can come off all his medications! They are very confident he won’t need a transplant for many many years!!! We want to thank everyone for all their continued support and all the prayers! If anyone doesn’t believe in miracles then they need to meet this little boy!

💚11 months old today. Time sure has flown by since we came home from UVA end of June. This sweet, happy boy amazes us everyday. He is into everything these days & still continues to get GREAT checkups 🥰. We are truly blessed by our almighty God for the blessing of Caden, ALL the continuous prayers & support of angels all around 😇. 💚 WE LOVE YOU sweet boy 💚

Caden update… Caden is doing great! He had his pediatrician check up a couple weeks ago and everything is looking good. His doctor said he is advanced mentally and expects him to be crawling before we know it and walking in a couple months lol… well Caden is now walking everywhere and is rarely crawling and he’s only 10 months old! He is definitely keeping us on our toes! And his smile just lights up our hearts!

9 months in…9 months out. This sweet boy is standing more now, crawling like a super ninja, into everything, cries when Poppy Dale has to leave for work or church, thinks MeMe Brenda is supposed to get me every time she walks by, can say mama/dada/hey/unt-na, hides things in hands then takes off, & of course still stealing hearts everyday wherever he goes💚. True warrior! So blessed still with such great progress each & everyday🥰. He is definitely loved so much! 💪🏻🙏🏻💚

Caden Update…. We had our check up at UVA this past Monday with Cadens liver doctor. He had a great check up! His weight gain and growth are great and we are now on a regular formula mixture now! Of course Caden had to have bloodwork done and he is a champ now and barely made a peep when being poked. Lab results were great, his liver enzymes are now normal and all his other labs looked great! His doctor took him off his multivitamins and the plan is to take him off his Cipro around May…. But the best news…… Cadens liver doctor feels like Caden will not need a liver transplant for many many years! It’s amazing this little fighter went from being told a few months ago he wouldn’t leave the hospital without a new liver to now he will be years and years down the road before talks of transplant will be needed 😊

Caden update: Caden is doing great! He’s growing like a week and getting around so great! He loves crawling around exploring and checking everything out. He’s even got his 2 bottom teething coming in! Our precious boy amazes us everyday.
