3. Old Business. Continued discussion and study of Open Space (as a concept).

Friends and Neighbors,

Preserve Penfield is watching the development of two new proposals going before the Planning Board for site plan review next week. One project is at 1801 Fairport Nine Mile Point Rd. and the other is at Wickham Farms. Public hearings for both will be held at the Planning Board meeting at Town Hall next Thursday, March 12, 2026 at 6:30 PM.

On Tuesday, November 4, 2025, Penfield residents will have the opportunity to vote for the position of Town Supervisor and for two positions on the Town Board.

These offices, through the establishment and enforcement of zoning ordinances, wield a great deal of influence over the future development of the town.

For that reason, Preserve Penfield has prepared a questionnaire for candidates to help gauge their attitudes with respect to issues of concern to our organization.

The Town of Penfield has hired a firm to help design a more robust Active Transportation Plan (ATP) for the town. Input from everyone who uses our streets, trails, and bike lanes is the most valuable contribution to making this plan work for everyone! So please take a few minutes to complete the survey.
