We want to start off by saying a HUGE Congratulations is in order to ALL 153 kiddos who participated in the Dave Long Memorial Fishing Derby. We love to see each and everyone of you catching fish and having a good time!!

We want to give recognition to the following kiddos who caught the FIRST FISH of the day, the FIRST LIMIT of trout, the BIGGEST fish of the day,this year one kiddo even caught the FIRST tagged Trout in the memory of former members & to fish with the BIGGEST fish overall!

There were also a few new categories this year that were received by our amazing donators. One was from the Elk County Outfitters or the ECO group. They wanted each kiddo who caught the BIGGEST fish to receive a hat & a special surprise inside. WE CANNOT THANK YOU ENOUGH ECO❤️
The other was from an Anonymous Donor who called it The Palomino Trout Bounty, this special gift was given to each of the kiddos who caught a Palomino Trout during the derby. THANK YOU SO MUCH AGAIN DONOR❤️

1st Fish: Cole S.

Biggest Fish: Carter B. Size 17 1/4

WOW YALL!! Let’s first start off by saying YALL kicked the 12th Annual Dave Long Memorial Kids Fishing Derby out of the park this year!!! 👏🏻👏🏻 We applaud each & everyone of you kiddos!!
Let’s get to the facts because this year was our BIGGEST YEAR. EVER.

Here are the facts:
Number of kids: 153
Number of measured fish: 150
Palomino Trout: At LEAST 3
Biggest Fish: 17 1/4inches
&& 1 tagged trout In Memory of Past Members

All we can say is THANK YOU A MILLION TIMES. We say this a lot but it is so true that we could not do this without each and everyone one of the kiddos, the parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, all of our sponsors and supporters, && a HUGE shout out to all of the helpers for everything they do to make the day go smooth.
We hope you guys had an amazing day and cherish all the memories we hold dear to us.
We thank you again && we will see yall next year.
Who knows maybe it’ll be an even BIGGER year 🤘🏻

We are stocked up && shopped out 🤘🏻
We’d also like to thank the kind and generous man who ran into us shopping and donated to the derby. We love to see how many individuals support us so that we can make these shopping trips happen for yall!!!
