We wanted to send out a HUGE thank you to everyone who came out to the Penelope BSO Easter Egg Hunt this morning! 🐰🥚

Seeing all those smiling faces and excited kids hunting for eggs truly brings us so much joy! We absolutely love being able to host fun events for our community’s children — it’s what makes it all worthwhile. 💛

We also want to give a **special shout-out** to our amazing donors who helped make this event possible: Old Navy, Tina Kris, Monica Sinkule, and Frog Branch— thank you so much for your generous donations of eggs and goodies. Your support means the world to us! 🙌

It was a fantastic morning filled with laughter, fun, and community spirit. We can’t wait to do it again next year! 🌷

🎓✨ **Exciting News from Penelope ISD BSO (Better School Organization)!** ✨🎓

Our **2026 College Scholarship Applications** are finally available! We are thrilled to announce that **this year we will be awarding TWO scholarships** to support our amazing students:

🏆 **1 Scholarship for $500.00**
🏆 **1 Scholarship for $250.00**

Applications have been delivered to **Ashlea in the elementary office**, so be sure to stop by and pick one up! Once completed, please return your application to Ashlea so she can get them back to us in a timely manner.

📅 **All applications are due by May 1st, 2026** so we can review submissions and select the winning applicants at our **BSO Meeting in May**.

We are so proud to support our students and can't wait to see all the great applications! 💙📚

🎉♻️ We Have a Recycling Champion! ♻️🎉

The results are in for the Penelope ISD BSO Nextrek Recycling Contest, and WOW — our students showed up in a BIG way! 💚

🏆 A huge CONGRATULATIONS to the amazing 2nd Grade Class at Penelope ISD Elementary! 🏆

They collected an incredible 21 pounds of plastics!! 👏👏 What an outstanding effort!

We are SO proud of every student and family who participated, brought items, and helped make this contest such a success. Your hard work is helping our community and our planet! 🌎💚

🍕 To celebrate their big win, the 2nd grade class will enjoy a PIZZA PARTY on Friday, February 20th! 🍕

♻️✨ Get ready… we’ll be hosting another recycling contest soon — so start saving those plastics now! Let’s see which class will take home the next win! 💪💙

Better late than never, right? 💛 A little late posting this, but our gratitude is as big as ever! We want to give a HUGE thank-you to WestFest for the opportunity to volunteer and receive funds for our nonprofit. We had an amazing time, and it was such a fun and meaningful experience for our team. ✨

And guess what? We’ll be doing it again next year! 🎉 If you’re interested in joining us next time, keep it in mind—we’d love to have you be part of it! 💙🙌
