Congratulations to Pendleton Rotary on a very successful Rose Sale! the sale netted $7635.00!!! The VIP Rose Sales Team is Jim Krout - 45 dozen, Rita Strandholm - 40 dozen, Kevin Hale - 32 dozen, Corey, Byler and Rew Law Offices - 23, Mark Mulvihill - 22 and MaryAlice Ridgway - 20. A very special thanks to John Turner to for heading up the sales and to those who help get the roses ready at Hodgen Distributing.

The funds will help fund our club's annual Rotary Scholarships for local high school students.

Mudslinger Events- Oregon Outdoor Recreation has brought a world class “gravel” bicycle race to Pendleton. It is an off road bike race on gravel roads traveling 40 miles through north Umatilla County. Nearly 400 cyclists have entered and the race begins and ends in the Blue Mountain Equine Center. You can cheer the riders as they cross Bedford Bridge and finish in the arena!

His IRZ Consulting company has been creating new innovations in irrigation internationally. He is the founder of “Farmers Ending Hunger”. We wish him success in both endeavors and appreciate his time with us today.
