Our mission it to sustain a symphony orchestra and music education program to enhance the cultural richness of Umatilla and Morrow Counties and the Umatilla Indian Reservation. A volunteer Board of Directors guides the organization, which is administered by a management team consisting of an executive director, program manager, publications manager, and office manager. This team, with the help of

many devoted volunteers, facilitates four diverse season concerts, a Holiday Music Festival, fundraising events, and a host of comprehensive musical education programs. Please contact us via email, phone, or letter - not Facebook messenger.

Take a look at this rare print by acclaimed Pendleton artist Hiroko Cannon, which will be up for auction at the Bach Yard Party, our annual fundraiser supporting OES education programs.

Created for a 2008 OES fundraiser following the devastating fire that destroyed our Main Street office in Pendleton, this striking piece comes from an edition of only five prints.

The artwork is especially unique within Hiroko Cannon’s body of work because it features a mythological creature, the Firebird from Slavic folklore, immortalized in Igor Stravinsky’s iconic ballet “The Firebird.”

Don’t miss your chance to bid on a truly one-of-a-kind piece of OES history while supporting music education in our community.
