Hello Marion Jack Irrigation District Members,

As mentioned last week, the Marion Jack water allotment would not extend into late September as we have had a very dry summer. Today, we utilized all of our contract water for the season, and the system has been shut off for the year.

We appreciate everyone who conserved water to get us to this point.

This year has been a dry year as we all know and we are carefully monitoring the system. We will not make it through the season with the remaining allocated water storage for the District. We will let everyone know when the system will be shut off this year.

Hello All,
As we head into the months of August and September, the Marion Jack Improvement Board would like to reminds folks to conserve water, if possible, and follow the schedule for watering, up to 8 hours, on either odd or even days, depending on your location.

UPDATE: The water is back on. 😁

NOTICE: Marion Jack Improvement District water users: The Gateway line and the west side of the highway will be off Wednesday , June 4th, for repairs at 7 am. We hope to have the water back on by noon the same day.

Please mark your calendars for the annual Marion Jack Improvement District Meeting. The meeting is scheduled for MONDAY, May 5th, 2025 @ 6:00 pm, in the Community Room located in the City Hall building. (lower backside of City Hall at 500 SW Dorion Avenue, Pendleton, OR) We hope to see you there!

THE WATER IS ANTICIPATED TO BE TURNED ON BY SATURDAY, APRIL 5th, 2025. Please check your valves and lines for breakage due to freezing - we have found some problems in the past. Please close your valves so we do not have problems when we turn the main line on.
