📚 **A Little Piece of Hermiston History for National Book Lovers Day!** 📚

We think a good book—and a good piece of local history—are worth celebrating!

Today’s photograph takes us back to **Hermiston’s Carnegie Library**, a treasured part of the community’s early history. The library was built in 1918 with funding from philanthropist Andrew Carnegie and opened its doors to the public in 1919.

For generations, libraries have been more than just places to borrow books. They’ve been places to learn, gather, dream, and discover something new.

So in honor of all the book lovers out there, here’s a little reminder that **every community has stories worth preserving—and every good story deserves a place to be remembered.** ❤️📖

Dust off your hats... Round-Up is almost here.

With **35 days** until the grand entry, we're looking back to the women and men who helped write Pendleton's western story.

This beautiful photograph features **Queen Josie Sedgwick**, Pendleton Round-Up Queen in **1924**—a reminder that every generation has added another chapter to the legacy of the World's Famous Pendleton Round-Up.

Beginning next week, Heritage Station Museum will be sharing a special collection of historic photographs featuring the **cowboys of yesterday**. We invite you to join us each day as we celebrate the people, traditions, and western spirit that continue to make our community so special.

Here's to preserving the past while we look forward to another unforgettable Round-Up!
