Waste Management's Grand Central Environmental Education Center The Grand Central Environmental Education Center is located at the Grand Central Sanitary Landfill.

The Grand Central Environmental Education Center is home to many birds, mammals and reptiles. The facility is used primarily for Waste Management events but is open to the public to hike and go birding.

Yesterday campers from the Slate Belt YMCA joined Kevin and Adrienne to tour the grassland habitat and learn about landfills! Nearly 60 campers constructed their own edible landfill (yes lots of candy!!), found flowers and learned about the bee hive project managed by Kevin and our friend John, the Beekeeper!
