Women's Club of Pen Argyl PA The Women’s Club of Pen Argyl, PA is dedicated to service to our community.

We conduct fundraising events to provide:
- Scholarships to local Pen Argyl students
- Helping Families FIrst of Pen Argyl

The Women’s Club had their monthly meeting on June 2. Final meeting of our year, but we made plans to continue our monthly Lunch Bunch get-togethers during the summer. Made lots of plans for our fundraising work that helps our local community. We’ll start meetings again in September. We welcome all women in the Pen Argyl/Wind Gap area to join us.

This year’s recipient of the 2026 GFWC Women’s Club of Pen Argyl $1,000.00 scholarship was awarded to Arseniy T**a. Arseniy is a Pen Argyl High School graduate. His parents are Stanislav and Wyana T**a.
Arseniy’s academic achievements include the national first generation recognition award, first honor roll, National Honor Society, and Top Ten award. He was a mock trial captain, Aevidum officer, and scholastic scrimmage member. Arseniy was an active volunteer for Families First for three years.
Arseniy will be attending Lehigh University. He will major in mechanical engineering. We wish him every success with this academic endeavor.

The Women’s Club held our monthly meeting on May 5. Our speaker, Robin Zmoda, former Borough Manager, spoke on the history, mission, goals and accomplishments of Slate Belt Rising. A very informative presentation. Our next meeting is at noon on June 2 at Phoebe Manor. We encourage women in Pen Argyl and Wind Gap to join us to learn more about our charitable efforts.
