🌾📣 Maine Students: Step Into Agricultural Leadership! 📣🌾
Do you know a student passionate about agriculture, leadership, or public policy? Here’s an incredible opportunity they won’t want to miss!
Students are invited to apply for Agriculture Policy Day at the Legislature on March 25, 2026, at the State House in Augusta. This limited-seat program offers a behind-the-scenes look at how agricultural policy is shaped right here in Maine.
Participants will:
✅ Tour the Capitol
✅ Meet with legislators and agricultural leaders
✅ Observe the Legislature’s Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry Committee in action
✅ Build advocacy and civic engagement skills through virtual pre- and post-sessions
The event takes place during National Agriculture Day and Maine Agriculture Day at the Legislature, when farmers, producers, and partners gather in the Hall of Flags (9 a.m. – 2 p.m.) to celebrate Maine’s vibrant agricultural community.
