This Thursday! Buy your Valentine a nice plant or one of the many gifts they sell. Penumbra is an amazing store, so stop by on Thursday and help support our 7th and 8th graders as they raise funds for their class trip!

We are SO excited to let you know that we will be doing our Strong Foundations Charter School Day at Carter Hill Orchard fundraiser again this year! Our event will be held on Sunday, October 2nd! Our PTO will be there from 10:00am-12:00pm serving coffee to go with those amazing warm apple cider donuts so be sure to visit us by the apple shed! AND there will be tractor rides into the orchard so you don't have to carry those heavy bags of apples back!

Carter Hill is a beautiful place to visit! And our fundraiser day is a great time to visit with other families and of course the kids can play with their friends! A great day for all!

Carter Hill is located at 73 Carter Hill Road in Concord! We are so fortunate to be able to partner with them again for our fall fundraiser and we couldn't be more excited!

The PTO is now selling vouchers. You may purchase $10 or $25 vouchers from Strong Foundations. Vouchers will be available for purchase in the school office beginning tomorrow. We are ONLY accepting checks made out to SFCS or cash. Strong Foundations will make 30% from each voucher purchased! That's awesome! Vouchers will be on sale until September 30th and also at the orchard at the PTO table!!!

IN ORDER FOR SFCS TO EARN THE 30%, YOU MUST PAY FOR YOUR PURCHASES AT THE ORCHARD WITH OUR VOUCHERS ONLY!!! And you must use the entire amount of the voucher. Cash will not be returned to you if the entire amount of voucher is not used. Vouchers are good until the store closes for the season on December 16th, 2022! They will not be valid after that. Your voucher must be initialed by a PTO member in order to be valid.

Dear SFCS Families,

I feel terrible having to say this, but we need to close down the school for Tuesday through Friday due to the number of staff who are out on quarantine or are out sick for other reasons besides COVID.

Several of the staff who are out are in key positions to keep the school running, and there are not people who can substitute.

I realize this plays havoc with your work situations, and I can't apologize enough for that.

These won't be remote learning days. Please have your children read and do math practice so they keep their minds active.

I will examine the hours we have in our schedule, and I will determine what we need to make up. Our school's hours far exceed the required minimum by the State of NH, so we may not need to make up all of the missed hours.

We are excited to kick off our first ever Poinsettia fundraiser! We know it's only October but the ordering process starts early for these!

Before you read any further, please note that we don't ask or expect families to participate in every fundraiser that we do. We do however like to offer a variety of fundraisers throughout the year that families might want to participate in. And we have found that we as well as families, definitely prefer local fundraisers!

We will be partnering with D. S. Cole Growers of Loudon to bring you a new holiday fundraiser! We LOVE supporting our local businesses and are grateful that they are partnering with us!!!

Please see the attached picture for the Designer Series Poinsettias available! They are even offering an exclusive Starry Night Poinsettia just for Strong Foundations Families! In addition, there are your traditional colors of Red, White and Pink.

We accept checks (made out to SFCS) or cash.

***All orders are due MONDAY NOVEMBER 1ST by 3pm. We absolutely CANNOT accept any late orders. Any orders brought to our school after November 1st will be returned to you. Please give your order to a dismissal or morning drop off teacher. Please DO not send your orders into your child's teacher. The orders must get directly to the office.***

When Poinsettias are ready, you will be able to pick them up at D. S. Cole Gardens, 251 North Village Road, Loudon on Saturday November 13th from 10:00am-12:00pm.
***All Poinsettias MUST be picked up Saturday November 13th by 12:00pm!!!***

SFCS PTO will be making between $5 and $10 per plant!!!! That is amazing!!!!!! We are going to have many needs when our new addition is done and the proceeds from our fundraisers this year will be helping with those needs!
