Following the destruction caused by Hurricane Helene in 2024, Swannanoa Valley Christian Ministry, Hammer & Heart, and CORE: Community Organized Relief Effort have joined forces to help families rebuild their homes and their lives in Western North Carolina. Through this partnership, we are combining resources, volunteers, and expertise to support long-term recovery efforts, ensuring that survivors have a pathway back to safe and stable housing. Recovery is a marathon, not a sprint, and we remain committed to standing alongside impacted communities.

Since Hurricane Helene in 2024, CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort) has completed more than 80 full home rebuilds across Western North Carolina, restoring not just structures, but hope for families impacted by the storm.

Antonio and his team have been instrumental in this effort, working tirelessly on the ground alongside dedicated community volunteers and local contractors. Together, they ensure each home is rebuilt with care, quality, and dignity.

This collaborative approach reflects the heart of CORE’s mission: community-driven recovery that puts people first, bringing neighbors, skilled trades, and volunteers together to help families return home stronger than before.
