RESCHEDULED: Select Board Meeting New Date

Following the cancellation of this week's meeting, the Select Board meeting has officially been rescheduled.

New Date: Tuesday, May 26th
Time: 7:00 PM

This rescheduled meeting will now include the items delayed from the previous agenda, including the reorganization of the board and perhaps a follow up on discussions regarding the Select Board Code of Conduct.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Select Board Meeting Cancelled

Please be advised that the Select Board meeting originally scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, May 20th, has been CANCELLED.

This meeting was set to include crucial agenda items, specifically:

-The annual reorganization of the Select Board

-Perhaps continued discussions potentially surrounding the Select Board Code of Conduct

Reason for Cancellation:
According to the Town Manager’s office, the meeting cannot move forward because the official agenda was not posted in a timely manner, failing to meet the required public notice window.

We will share the new date and time for this meeting as soon as it is officially rescheduled by the town. Thank you for helping us spread the word to your neighbors so no one makes an unnecessary trip to Town Hall tomorrow night!

Note on Open Meeting Law: In Massachusetts, public meeting notices and agendas must be officially filed and posted at least 48 hours in advance (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays). Missing this window legally requires the town to cancel and reschedule the meeting to ensure transparency.
