A 501(c)3 non-profit rescue in South DOGS ON THE MOVE by Pawsitive 4 LIFE, Inc.

was created in November 2011 to rescue animals from high kill shelters in South Florida and transports them safely to 501(c)3 rescues and no kill shelters throughout the United States, where they will be re-homed. WE WILL NOT TRANSPORT DOGS TO OTHER COUNTRIES. To date, we have rescued more than 5700 (see updates below) animals, most of whom are in permanent and loving homes.

Sunday’s are for family and do we have a family update on Obi, fka Rico Tico….
He is a big brother!!! And according to mom, the absolute best one!
For all of you that don’t know, Obi came to us by chance. We were at the vet’s office with other rescue pups when a couple carried in a very sunburned baby they found on the side of the road in Miami, tied to a tree. The shelter would not take him in due to capacity and he had no chip. As they walked out with him unsure of what to do we made a split second decision to run after them and offer our help.
Well needless to say it was another one of those decisions that even though we were at intake max, we would not have changed a thing. He was vetted and healed when he got to meet Alex and Johanna which clearly was a match made in heaven.
All three of them welcome this sweet baby and Obi takes his sibling duties very seriously with more love than any of us could imagine. We love you all and Obi so much 💙

Grateful as always for having the privilege of helping these sweet, innocent souls in need.

Angeline Pupdate! 😍

Remember Angeline who was found by a Good Samaritan family out in the Redlands? She looked like a skeleton and most likely would not had survived if they did not help her get to the shelter. We rescued her and worked hard to get her weight up and thankfully she was able to go to an amazing partner where she could fully become the dog she is today and finally find a wonderful family to call her very own!

We got a beautiful message showing us how the family was visiting none other than the Sunshine state for vacation and boy does this Florida girl look different this time around! She is not only healthy and even more beautiful but look how HAPPY she is!! We could not be more grateful to everyone who helped make this fairy tail needing possible 💜💜💜
