We are happy to announce that today we sent out a letter on behalf of the FMBA in support of Adeel A. Mangi's confirmation to the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Mangi's confirmation process has been marred with unfair attacks rooted in Islamophobia. Mr. Mangi is incredibly qualified for the position, and he should be considered based on his qualifications and not baseless racist attacks. Mr. Mangi would be the first Muslim to serve on the Federal Appellate Bench. We hope the Senate does the right thing and swiftly confirms him.
