So there was a council meeting, again. No takers on the clerks position, no recusal, no meat on the table! no decisions, no “let’s do it”? Formal hamster show, “good boy” now go lay down, we’ll do nothing again next month! 10 years ago, we had bigger gatherings, you could count on 20 or so volunteers for anything! It’s gets worse every year and the outside interest are watching, all the amenities are GONE, the incintive with it! Fight back at least!! One guy! One!!! Spoke up about need for “at least something” No homeowners here no voters? No business owners?
The candidates aren’t speaking up, one potential mayor, and no one appears interested in a council seat? The vacated council seat, wasn’t even discussed, special election, audit, secretary? Nope. Did the speaker even “actually say anything” and of course no volume, like always, so you must have missed any answers promoted. Thank god for the independent news guy, at least we have record. The town doesn’t either, for the last few months. I need some help here, simple. Make 6 calls a week, take notes and let’s compare, we can get more done in a few weeks than the town has in 10 years. Plus youll understand WHY nothing ever gets done FOR Pelzer. Get on council, the planning board, join my group or make your own. We need to gather our workforce and share notes. Obviously the town isn’t gonna help, unless we put some “we give a crap” pressure into it.
Send a message, a text or whatever you want, it’s not on deaf ears. From pic-nic tables to benches to feasible income if YOU don’t say “I want this or that” they’ll Never give you anything,
