“I never knew how big of an impact Grace’s life would have on my own. I remember as a child watching my Aunt Jen and Uncle Doug nurture Grace on our blue couch. This couch was considered “Grace’s Couch” because whenever they came to our house, it was always where Grace would lie. I remember how just being near her made everything slow down. Grace touched many hearts without saying a single word. She taught me that strength can often be quiet; that love is shown through sacrifice and patience; and that every life holds countless amounts of value. Her absence leaves a quiet space in our family, but her presence lives on in how we choose to live.” 💞

Game-day in Peer PE and being Grace’s UNO partner… Grace was holding our cards and Lucy kept trying to peak at them, so we had to keep switching the way Grace held the cards. It was just so much fun not only playing the game, but working with Grace to make sure Lucy couldn’t cheat! -Ella T

Day 9 - One of my favorite times with Grace was when it was just the two of us in our classroom. We could read books together in silly voices, run her hands over the sensory pages, and talk about what we were going to do after school. It was a quiet peace that Grace and I shared.

Another favorite was Grace in the kitchen! I loved when we put wheels on her futon and she was mobile all of the time! She was dipping cookies! 🍪
