A providentially caring creative conversation last week became a generous partnership opportunity this afternoon to gift out 38 flowering pots from Pella Floral & Greenhouse to 725 Ministries families at The Reserves at Mill Farm before we served our Tuesday meal this evening. The kids were so excited that they got to help pick out a basket for their front door. There were a few kids that asked if they could take one home to their mom whom they don’t live with. We just want each child and adult connected to 725 Ministries to be seen, known, loved, and filled. Thank you to Tyler & Mandy Smith for being such a huge part of an incredible afternoon, this will be a memory our 725 kids and families will see and cherish all summer long. 🧡💚🦬🌺😊🤗

725 is serving meals to about 60 kids at The Reserves at Mill Farm every week on Tuesdays (hot meal) and Thursdays (cold sack meals) — this week we’ve had generous support from Pella Community Foundation grant, United Methodist Church of Pella - 10am Worship on Sundays, Hetlands, Keldermans, and Marge.

As we launch a new year, much about 725 remains the same, we 1) consistently show up, 2) feed relationships, and 3) run into life storms.
Specifically we prepare and serve hearty after school snacks for 60 kids at The Reserves every Tuesday & Thursday!
— ham&cheese Tuesdays, PBJ Thursdays
— fresh fruit (18+ pounds of grapes Tuesdays)
— beef sticks
— cheese sticks
— fruit snacks
— a salty crunchy variety
— 180 fresh baked cookies (3 per kid)
— drink assortment (water, Sunny D, Gatorade)

And for Christmas we hosted a family feast and also gifted each kid and their caregiver(s) with a 725 hoodie 🦬

We’re preparing year-end giving statements and incredibly grateful for how each one of you make it possible for us to show up in these kids life stories.
