Safe Water International Ministries (SWIM) is committed to providing safe water to as many people as we can amid this global water crisis, while also distributing Bibles and sharing the Living Water in Jesus Christ.

NEPAL FLOOD RELIEF URGENT NEED:
We are supporting Nepali-led SWIM teams that are setting up 10 central production locations to produce chlorine to create safe water for thousands in affected areas.

Our trainers are currently in contact with 8 different churches that are providing information on the need and organizing relief efforts.

Our goal is to raise funds to support these efforts. We currently have 2 donors who have given $1600 and are asking for contributions to match this amount.

"Show me!"

Sometimes when our trainers speak to a group for the first time, there is skepticism and debate about what is making them sick. Our trainers explain it is bad bacteria/microbes in the water, but often times in certain regions the audience wants proof. This is where the microscope comes in to play with a drop of water from the local water source being magnified so that the people in attendance can see the bad bacteria "swimming and dancing." Add to that a drop of chlorine produced using the CPU that stops the movement (indicating the bacteria is dead) and the group is convinced and ready to begin their own efforts to make safe water for many in their area.

What a beautiful picture of time in the word of God with those who are about to receive chlorine. Seeing those bibles open is amazing!

Can you imagine yourself being there talking to people about what God has done in your life, about His love and faithfulness? People need and want to hear your testimony!

Kelly - thank you for your "yes" to our request!

We are so grateful to our ministry friends for taking along on their mission trip to Malawi an extra bag filled with 30 CPU kits! Thousands of people will greatly benefit from this small act of kindness!

If you or someone you know is going on a mission trip to a country we are very active in (Kenya, Uganda, Malawi, Tanzania, Zambia, and parts of Asia) please reach out to us as we could use your help transporting CPU kits! We are happy to cover bag fees.

Typhoid - a word Africans don't want to hear when it comes to their village.

Recently, an in-country SWIM trainer in Kenya heard of a Typhoid outbreak, so he traveled to the village and gifted them a CPU kit that will be used to make the water safe to drink for a large number of people.

While there, the Gospel was preached, 2 accepted Christ, and Bibles were given out.

Recently, our Malawi trainers placed a new CPU kit at the Hills of Joy Ministry site.

Pictured is the Young Life Liberia Water Committee! They spent time today practicing how to make chlorine and will now make plans on how to reach their neighbors with chlorine for safe drinking water while also telling those they interact with about the Gospel. They ask for your prayers as the take their next steps, and for their continued effort to love on teenagers throughout the country!

Wonderful work is being done by our SWIM coordinator, Daniel Lazier. He shares these pictures today.

SWIM Tanzania Team excited to share an update of two programs.
1. We went to coastal region called Dar es salaam and got a wonderful time with our friends from Israel temple Church, were we conducting training for two days making Chlorine with church of 300 peole.
We have shared the Love of Jesus through his Word and produce and provide them Chlorine to treat their water and them left the Church and the entire community with Joy and shining hearts in Jesus. Thank you SWIM for facilitating this process.
