Where were the schools? We get this question a lot.

On this 1892 Map, all 5 of the original schoolhouses were marked with S. H. We have also added the location of the Junior High School that opened in 1920 and was later named E.G. Sherburne School.

All 6 buildings still stand today. #1 is the American Legion, #2-5 are private homes, and Sherburne School is now the Town Hall.

Printed maps are available at the Museum.

As the year winds down, we are offering the couple of canvas bags we have left at an almost 60% discount, now only $20!

You can stop by the Selectman's office to purchase during the week, come to the museum on Saturdays in October between 10-2, or purchase directly on our website (the price on the website includes shipping)

Our first (of hopefully many) interactive displays is up! Scan the QR code and learn more about the subject.

We have also added some new house photos to the house display and the dresses are still set up.

A museum is a great way to spend a very rainy Saturday. We will be here 10-2, so stop on by 😊

We had almost 400 visitors yesterday!! Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by, shopped at the gift shop, and dropped donations into the jars.

If you didn't get a chance to pop by yesterday, we will keep the dresses up for a couple more weeks. Stop by on Saturdays from 10-2!

We are so very grateful for the generous loan of dress forms from the Manchester Historic Association & Millyard Museum and the generosity of the residents of Pelham, who also donated dress forms that will be used to permanently display some of our dresses.

On Saturday, we will have all of our antique dresses on display, made possible by a very generous loan and a few donations of dress forms.

Please plan to stop in to view these magnificent gowns and dresses before they are carefully placed back into storage.

We will also have all the usual activities- design your own button or magnet, craft table for the kiddos, trinket trading shelf, 3 levels of scavenger hunts, our duck hunt 🦆, gift shop, and more!
