One of our most meaningful annual service projects is placing white crosses in downtown Pelham to commemorate all of Mitchell County’s fallen soldiers through the years. This year, special thanks go to members Chip, Cody, and Kevin as well as Brian from Family Bank for doing a great job getting the crosses up for Memorial Day.

In addition to our regular scholarships, this year we presented the Jimmy Godwin Community Service Scholarship to Branajah Gillis. Club Foundation Chair Justin Adams was joined by Jimmy’s widow Jan and his daughter Jana in presenting the award. Jimmy served our club for over 50 years and passed away on March 4.
