Over 700 campers came through the Runels gate this summer - they backpacked, swam, sang so many songs, climbed, made heaps of s'mores, created, hit bullseyes, ventured off camp, threw hatchets, and so much more. And behind them, every step of the way, was an amazing team of 67 staff, including our counselors, specialists, kitchen team, property team and Core Staff.
There were late nights and early mornings. There were scorching hot days and cold, rainy days. There were days filled with laughter and singing. There were days where everything went perfectly and days where it was significantly more challenging. And through it all they made camp magic happen.
We are always grateful for the amazing team that makes camp come alive each summer, and this summer is no different. We are so very thankful for all the love and care they poured into our campers, while keeping safety at the forefront of all they did. We truly don't have the words to express how much we appreciate them.
