Strength training is a powerful tool..not just to improve athletic performance or prevent injury, but for our brains. Did you know strength training had such a positive effect on the brain?

The fitness center renovation will have 3 dedicated spaces. A strength room with racks, free weights and weight machines. A conditioning room with various cardio training equipment. Open studio, with space for stretching, mobility, yoga, meditation or more. Students.. community.. we want to hear from you! What space are you most excited about? What space is most needed? What space will have the greatest impact on our students. Drop and comment and let us know.

Thank you Pelham Youth Lacrosse for your $5,000 donation in our capital campaign to update the fitness facilities at PMHS. This is a great investment in all our future Lacrosse players and the youth of Pelham.

Looking for a fun way to keep your kids busy today? How about a Future Lifters Lemonade Stand?

But seriously it’s the younger members of our Pelham community that have the most to gain by updating the training facilities at PMHS.

Contributing to this campaign will insure there will be an organized training program for sports teams, a more modern PE curriculum, and a place for all to start healthy habits…,when your child enters they high school.

Having an on site fitness facility is not just about supporting our student athletes… this is something that will benefit all of our students. Resistance training has proven benefits to reducing stress and improving academic performance. Parents, students, how does working out make you feel?
