This weekend I had the opportunity to participate in the Walk for Alzheimer’s, the worlds largest fundraiser for Alzheimer’s.

This cause is very near to my heart, as my Grandma has struggled with Dementia since 2020. While she didn’t have treatment options, with the work the Alzheimers Association is doing, there will be a cure one day.

If you or someone you know has Dementia or Alzheimer’s, the Alzheimers Association has resources for both those that have a diagnosis and their caregivers.

We love seeing our new Miss Marigold out there doing big things! Way to go Sarah!

We are excited to announce that we have a new club this year, The Child Life Club! This club will help prepare future child- and family-centered helping professionals through service, advocacy, and professional development. Child Life Science majors, Sarah Frahm and Morgan Coughlin recruited new members at the fall Activities Fair.

It's so hard to believe it's already been ONE WHOLE WEEK since the most amazing ending to a perfect night!

It takes so much bravery for these young ladies to put themselves out there in an event like this and we are so proud of all 17 of them and still basking in the glow of it all!

Every year, we let the contestants know that regardless of the final outcomes, we will share with them if they received any perfect scores (all 10's) from their judges.

This year, we're so excited to say we had 3 contestants who accomplished this! One of them is our First Runner-Up Riley O'Donnell and we thought her perfect score definitely deserved a repeat of her talent performance so here it is!
