***TODAY IS THE DAY!***

Applications for the 2026 Mini Marigolds mentoring program will open today at 7pm and be filled on a first-come, first-served basis!

Participants will get an up close and behind the scenes look at the Miss Marigold pageant. They'll be partnered with a contestant and attend two contestant meetings, dress rehearsal, and a special workshop on pageant day. On pageant night they'll be featured in both the opening number and a crowning ceremony of their own. Participants will also receive a t-shirt, custom 50th anniversary Miss Marigold tiara, and other goodies.

Slots are limited so set your alarms and get ready to join in on the fun!

Earlier this week, Kiwanis Club hosted the Bike Rodeo for Adventure Day Camp at the Arena.

It just so happens that Emma works there and was able to step away to put her crown and sash on and surprise the kids as Miss Marigold!

Not only that, but Kiwanis gave away 24 bikes!!

On Thursday, Josie and Emma were invited to throw the first pitch at a Chiefs game for Pekin Night!

The girls had a wonderful time and even competed in a snow cone eating contest.

It's official, the date is set!

Our 50th annual Miss Marigold Pageant and 3rd annual Jr. Miss Marigold pageant will be held together on Saturday, August 15 in the F.M. Peterson Theater at Pekin Community High School.

Former queens and court members - please mark your calendars now and plan to attend this milestone event!

Information about entering this year's pageant (open to young women ages 11-14 or 16-22) will be available in late April!

Information about the Mini Marigolds Mentoring Program will also be available in late April.
