We believe in taking care of the community that takes care of us.

Yesterday we had the opportunity to give back with a donation to the Care Closet, helping provide essentials to those who need it most right here at home. This is what it is all about, neighbors helping neighbors and making sure no one gets left behind.

Thank you to everyone who supports what we do. Because of you, we are able to keep putting good back into the community that gives us so much.

The Marquette Heights Public Library Board and staff want to thank the Marquette Heights Men's Club of Central Illinois for their donation of $5,000 to the library!

It is with deep sadness that the Marquette Heights Men’s Club announces the passing of Harold Windsand Herlich. Harold was called home on December 24, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Harold was instrumental in the early beginnings of Spook Hollow and played a key role in helping shape the haunt into what it has become today. His passion, dedication and willingness to give his time and talents helped lay the foundation for decades of scares, smiles and community impact.

Beyond the haunt, Harold was known for his faith, love of family and service to his church and community. He leaves behind a legacy of generosity, leadership and a true “Men’s Club spirit” that will continue to inspire our members and volunteers for years to come.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Harold’s family, friends and all who were touched by his life. He will be greatly missed, but his impact on Spook Hollow and our club will never be forgotten.

Rest in peace, Harold. Thank you for helping build the tradition we carry forward today.
