Happy New Year from the Greater Peoria Environmental Science Society! We're excited to start the new year strong -- will you resolve to join us?

Our first meeting on January 19th at The Mansion on Walnut in Pekin, where we'll learn what fish do with their time over the winter (ice hockey, perhaps?).

We hope to see you at 6:00 on the 19th. Remember that we have separate activities for kids and adults!

12/16/2016

Temperatures dropped to as low as 4° F yesterday, with lower temperatures predicted for Sunday. Humans feel plenty cold over winter, but how do fish feel at these temperatures? Join us for our first meeting on January 19th to learn how fish and the environment adapt to changing weather!
