Today we honor our fallen. We pray for their families to find comfort and peace through a relationship with Jesus Christ.

For those in service we share this story:

In the Revolutionary War there lived a man named Elles Palmer. He signed up at Valley Forge and was one of the many who had no shoes and even lost a foot. Once healed from the amputation, he went back and stumped his way to Yorktown. Nearly 100 years later .ost Palmers in the South refused to fight against The Stars and Stripes because the story was passed down that carried the weight of His honor.

Now let's turn to the greatest warrior of all time: Jesus Christ. We don't call His sacrifice "Calvary" for nothing. It was the greatest battle of all. The battle for the souls of humanity. He took your place in the battle you should've fought but had no chance of winning.

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
Ephesians 2:8

JESUS is coming soon to pick up His Bride, the church. Many voices are rising. Discernment is crucial to follow Him. Without discernment we will get off the beaten path and before we know it, we're following something or someone else. Know the Bible, read it daily. Know Him, pray daily.

Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
Matthew 25:13 KJV

He knows who said it, what was said, what was truth and what was lies. Jesus knows and will hold ALL accountable. We don't even need to defend ourselves. Trust Him and walk away from those who defame you. They will pay a price. You can be sure of that. When He wraps it all up and sets the liars straight, you will be empathetic towards them because He will bring them so low that His signature will be on it.

You prepare a table before me

For those in Churchianity who identify as Christ followers: discernment is key to get through the day. If we are not discerning the times, then we are not prepared for the Lord's return. Are you fearful of God, like Noah? Or, are you vexed like Lot? If neither, it's time for a heart check.

But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,
And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Matthew 24:37-39

"And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:"
"(For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)"

When someone won't walk in the light, they're walking in darkness. There's no middle ground here. Discernment is key.

19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.
20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed.
21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.
John 3:19-21

The highest price brings the highest prize. Cheap prices bring cheap victories. When you decide the price is worth the pain is when the blessing comes. Never, ever waste your pain. Make it work for you. If you walk through the fire and trust Him, He will purify and you will be a vessel He will use.

The crucible for silver and the furnace for gold,
but the Lord tests the heart.

He us risen! On this Easter Sunday take time to meditate on exactly what it means to pay your eternal price. A price so expensive not even a billionaire could pay. A price so expensive that it could pay for every soul ever born. God said to humanity "My only Son in exchange for all your sons." Yet so many reject His son. Pray for those you know who reject so hreat a gift. Jesus truly is the only gift that keeps on giving.

Thank you Lord Jesus!

Sometimes storms of life come, that's when you learn the motives of others. When friends are there in the storms, they are proven friends. Forgive them, but moved on. Consider the storm an honor that God chose you to endure and teach you how important it is to walk pure before Him.

Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
2nd Timothy 2:22 KJV

The trying of our faith brings patience because the battle is really in our hearts. The test proves whether it's lust inside as the driving force, or God's will driven by faith in Him. The heart that stands pure before Him will prevail.

6 Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts,
And in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom.

7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean;
Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
8 Make me hear joy and gladness,
That the bones You have broken may rejoice.
9 Hide Your face from my sins,
And blot out all my iniquities.

When life is calm and quiet is when we must discipline our life with prayer, worship and reading His Word. This is how we learn how to listen to Him. This is how we learn to hear Him, even in the storms. In these times we learn how much He loves us. Rarely does He shout. His voice is still and small. Then we learn to discern when He's prompting to pray. It's very precious.

Be still and know that I am God.
Psalm 46:10
