We’re back with another great sale of gently used purses, wallets, and other small goods. The sale will be held Saturday, June 26th from 8am to 1pm at 1803 Tharp Street in Pekin (Marigold Estates). All proceeds go back to TAPS.

We were well into the planning of our 2nd Purses for Pets sale when the COVID 19 pandemic hit and cancelled our plans.

We already have a lot of great purses donated so we are going to hold an online auction. Our first auction will have 19 purses listed on our Purses for Pets page.

The online auction will begin on Sunday, May 10th at 8:00 a.m. and we will accept bids through Saturday, May 16th at 5:00 p.m.

Items will be posted with a description and minimum bid. Place your bids in the comment section. We ask that you increase your bids by a minimum of $1.00 increments. Check your favorite items often to make sure you stay the highest bidder!

Once the auction closes on Saturday, May 16th, the highest bidders of each item will be contacted via Facebook messenger. Bidders will have 72 hours to make a payment via paypal. If payment is not received within 72 hours, we will move on to the next highest bidder. Items can be shipped or coordinated for no contact pick up.

100% of proceeds benefit the dogs and cats of TAPS!

To anyone who used their credit card today, there was an additional $43 charge put on everyone’s transaction in error. Every account has been refunded the $43. Thank you to Leslie Hauk for spending the day setting up for the gently used purse sale tomorrow at TAPS. Don’t forget to join us from 9-1 at TAPS No-Kill Animal Shelter, 100 TAPS Lane, Pekin, Illinois. All purses priced $1 - $25 and supports the dogs and cats of TAPS. Coffee, tea, snacks....we hope you can join us! Please share to help spread the word.
