Pegram Community Club at the Depot This historical nonprofit community organization is located at the corner of Thompson Rd (Just off H It is located in the former railroad station depot.

The Pegram Community Club is located at the corner of Thompson Road and Station Road, just off Highway 70 at the CSX railroad crossing in Pegram. The club was started in 1954 by 5 Men including Charles E. Stuart, Sr, Doris Sawyer, Frankie Greer known as the Pegram Men's Club. There was a Pegram Women's Auxillary Club in late 1950's, then the club became co-ed, becoming the Pegram Community Club. A

nnual membership is: $30.00 for a Family Membership (unlimited family members living at home), $15.00 for an Individual Membership, and $10.00 for Seniors age 65 and over. Membership includes rental discounts for use of this historic facility for family, friends, or organizational events. The depot features a very large open room with tables and chairs, along with a fully equipped kitchen. The space is large enough to accommodate a band and is perfect for birthday parties, anniversaries, wedding receptions, showers, and benefit events for those in need. This facility is a truly multi-functional, family-friendly venue. Please note that alcohol and smoking are not allowed inside the building. Monies raised support the restoration of the station to its historical roots, as well as the ongoing upkeep and maintenance of the facility. The three major fundraisers include the annual Fish Fry in late March, the July 4th Barbecue, and a Spaghetti Supper held in late October

Monthly meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm in the depot. All are welcome to attend!

We’d really love to see some new faces and have more members join us. There are lots of ways to get involved, and we can always use more volunteers to help make our community events and projects a success.

I wanted to provide an update on the progress of the restoration fund. As of August 1st the fund is up to $17,545. Many thanks to all that have donated! Please consider making a donation to help with much needed repairs to the train and building.
