The ARK was created in the summer of 2001, originating out of the missions committee at the Kingston Springs United Methodist Church to provide social services for the residents of South Cheatham Co. The ARK incorporated as a seperate entity in July, 2002 and received official nonprofit status in April, 2003. The current centralized location in Pegram was purchased in 2012, with the help of a gene

rous grant, and will serve as a permanent home for the organization to provide the outreach needed for the communities. With this new building, the ARK was able to open a thrift store, Noah's Closet, which provides on-going revenue to assist in funding the programs of the ARK.
