Fourth Fridays is a free monthly social group for LGBTQIA+ youth and allies in Grades 9-12 that meets in Peekskill, NY.

Fourth Fridays is a monthly, affirming hangout for LGBTQIA+ teens and allies in Peekskill and surrounding communities 💛

We gather monthly to share food, make art, play games, meet awesome guest facilitators, and—most importantly—connect in a space that’s safe, welcoming, and judgment-free. Whether you come every month or just once in a while, you’re always welcome exactly as you are. Our focus is on building community and helping youth expand their social networks. No pressure, no expectations—just cozy vibes, real connection, and support when you need it.

Christina Picciano will be joining us to talk music, q***r community, and her own experience living authentically in Westchester.

Then we're turning up the music and letting the karaoke begin. 🎶

No auditions. No perfect voices. No pressure to perform.

Just music, community, and a chance to have some fun.

🎸 Meet the person bringing music, stories, and a little karaoke chaos to Fourth Fridays this month!

We're excited to welcome Christina Picciano on October 23.

Christina is a Westchester-based q***r performer, activist, producer, and community-builder whose work connects music, identity, resistance, and belonging.

She's also behind All My Friends, the Hudson Valley Q***r Collective, and the LGBTQ+ Listening Library.

Christina will be sharing a little of her story about living authentically in Westchester — and then we're getting the microphones ready. 🎤

Yep. Q***r Karaoke is happening.

🌈 There's something powerful about seeing a piece of yourself reflected back at you.

Maybe it's an artist whose story feels familiar.
A character who finally makes you feel understood.
A song that puts words to something you've been trying to explain.
Or simply seeing someone confidently be themselves.

Representation doesn't have to tell us exactly who we're supposed to be. Sometimes it simply reminds us that there are so many ways to be yourself.

This month, we're celebrating the music, media, and people that help LGBTQ+ young people feel seen, heard, and connected. 💜

And on October 23, we're bringing that conversation into the room with Christina Picciano — followed by some very real Q***r Karaoke. 🎤🎶
