WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A PEDDLER, SOLICITOR OR CANVASSER?
A peddler is a commercial dealer who sells or promotes a product or service.
Solicitors are usually noncommercial and include charities, political advocates or other organizations that ask for donations.
Canvassers are generally people who promote a political or religious idea or candidate.
