Kait's Angels is a chapter-based nonprofit organization with a mission of exactly that. In essence, lead by example.

Non-Profit organization on the North Fork of Long Island geared toward the utilization of your individual value to ultimately empower our young people to realize their full potential A top priority for any community should be the cultivation and nurturing of each of its members; not only for their own personal well-being but to fashion a life-style which inspires others, especially the always impr

essionable youth. Headquartered on the North Fork of Long Island, we aim to discover and utilize the individual value of each member in order to enhance the community and assist in seamless youth development. By encouraging constructive core values and providing support, assistance, and encouragement, we will ultimately empower people to reach their full potential and to set a positive example for others. The values our Angels (that’s you!) possess enable them to realize the beneficial impact of simple behaviors and actions on themselves and those around them. Compassion, constructive influences, random acts of kindness, regular volunteering, productive recreational activities, and personal attention can make a huge difference in people’s lives. Here’s a little of what we do:
• Provide local charities support for their events
• Sponsor a series of free course and programs hosted by local community members for students across Long Island’s North Fork including art therapy, a life skills course, nutrition, fitness, money management, investing, winemaking and vineyard operation
• Support local families in need to ensure a positive environment for area youth which can include moral support, tutors, and mentoring
• Host unforgettable local fundraising events, concerts and holiday celebrations
• Deliver daily inspiration through our many social media platforms

In order to make a difference we need your help. Kait’s Angels relies on donations and only through support from community members can our goals for helping address the needs around us, be met. The Kait’s Angels Community Yard Sale is back Saturday, September 12 at Strong’s Marina in Mattituck!

This year, we’re raising funds to help two North Fork locals:
Knox Kopf of Mattituck, diagnosed with Focal Dysplasia at only one year old and facing brain surgery and ongoing therapy. Karen Williams of Cutchogue, who is battling breast cancer.

Come hunt for treasures, score some bargains and—most importantly—help Kait’s Angels support two North Fork families who could use all of us behind them.

12 years in heaven. And still inspiring us.

Twelve years ago today, we lost Kaitlyn.

The years keep passing, but somehow her light keeps finding new places to land — in the people who remember her, the friendships she left behind, the families helped in her name, and a community that continues to show up for one another.

What began with an unimaginable loss became a legacy of kindness, generosity and love.

And through Kait’s Angels, Kaitlyn continues to remind us to notice when someone needs a hand, to give when we can, to show up when it matters, and to make a little more good in this world.

Twelve years in heaven.
Still loved. Still remembered. Still inspiring us.
