Like much of the Midwest, Ma-Ka-Ja-Wan is experiencing reduced air quality due to wildfire smoke from Canada. We are actively monitoring conditions and remain in regular communication with the local health department and neighboring Scout camps.

Our camp leadership team will adjust activities as needed to reduce smoke exposure while ensuring every Scout continues to have a safe and meaningful experience.

We appreciate the trust our families place in us and will continue to provide updates if conditions warrant.
