🚨 URGENT — FOSTERS NEEDED FOR 4 GIRLS 🚨

We are desperately trying to find foster homes for these four girls from the hoarding case. ❤️‍🩹

They have been through a lot, and now they just need somewhere safe and quiet where they can decompress and begin learning what life outside of everything they’ve known can look like.

All four girls are understandably shy and will need fosters who are willing to give them a little patience, time, and grace while they adjust. They don’t need anything fancy—just a safe home, a secure yard, kindness, and someone willing to give them a chance. ❤️

Our rescue provides all necessary veterinary care and supplies. We just need people willing to open their homes.

Taking even ONE of these girls into foster care would make an enormous difference. Finding fosters will also allow us to spend more time networking them with our out-of-state rescue partners and working toward permanent placement.

🐾🩷 HAPPY NATIONAL DOG DAY! 🩷🐾

Although when you run a dog rescue, pretty much every day is Dog Day. 😂🐶

Today we celebrate the goofy ones, the snuggly ones, the wild ones, the couch potatoes, the troublemakers, the seniors, the puppies, and every personality in between. 🥰

Dogs have an incredible way of making life better. They make us laugh when we need it most, greet us like we’ve been gone for a year when it’s only been five minutes, cover our clothes in hair, steal our spots on the couch, and somehow convince us that everything we own actually belongs to them. 😂🤷‍♀️

At Jackson’s Brush Puppy Rescue, we’re lucky enough to meet so many incredible dogs. Some come to us scared, neglected, abandoned, or simply needing a fresh start—and getting to watch them learn that they are safe and loved is one of the very best parts of rescue. 🩷

So today, give your dogs an extra treat, take them for their favorite walk, throw the ball one more time, or let them take up entirely too much room in the bed. 😂

We have lots of sweet faces to share with you today! Some you’ve probably seen a time or two (or seven), and some are brand-new faces who have recently joined Jackson’s Brush Puppy Rescue!

Our longtime crew is still hanging out with us, patiently waiting for their turn, and we just know the right opportunity is going to come along for them! 🤞🏼🐾

Even better, our longtime crew is already spayed/neutered and ready to roll! Many also have sponsored transport to help get them to their next destination. 🚐🩷 Just ask us about the dog you’re interested in and we can let you know if their transport is sponsored!

🐾 Meet the Pups! 🐾

These sweet babies had a pretty rough start to life. They were found abandoned and dumped on a county road at just a few weeks old. 💔 Thankfully, they were found and brought into our rescue, and they have absolutely blossomed in foster care! 🥹🩷

Despite their beginning, this crew is not only adorable—they’re incredibly well-mannered, loving pups!

All of them are smart little cookies who will sit for treats and patiently wait their turn. They come when called, love being loved on, and are always happy to return the favor with plenty of kisses! 😘🐾

💦 They ALL love the water! They also play wonderfully with bigger dogs and have been having a blast with their much larger rescue buddy, Bronco.

🩷 Freya (Little Bit) is the little cuddle bug of the group. She loves some extra special attention and is happiest when she gets to be held and loved on.

💜 Niamh is the playful, silly one! One of her favorite games is chasing the broom around while her foster is trying to sweep the porch. 😂

💙 The three boys are all-around sweethearts! They’re affectionate, friendly, and love getting attention from their people.

It’s hard to believe these happy, well-adjusted pups are the same little babies who were left abandoned on a county road. They’ve come such a long way and are ready for their next adventure! 🩷🐾

🚐 These pups are ready for out-of-state rescue tags and have SPONSORED TRANSPORT!

🚨 RESCUE HELP NEEDED 🚨

Our rescue is currently overwhelmed while also assisting authorities with a very difficult situation involving a large number of dogs.

We are incredibly grateful that several smaller rescues have already stepped up to help by taking dogs, but we still desperately need additional rescue partners willing to help.

Because of the circumstances these dogs have been living in, we have not been able to fully assess each dog’s individual personality or dog-friendliness. What we can say is that we feel confident these dogs are rehab-able with time, patience, and the right environment. ❤️‍🩹

These dogs have spent their lives in an overwhelming situation, and many are understandably scared, shut down, and unsure of all these new people and changes. A shelter environment would not be ideal for them. They need quiet, calm foster homes where they can decompress, learn what it feels like to be safe, and slowly come out of their shells.

They need patience, compassion, and a chance. 🐾

🐾 Off to Iowa! 🩷

Today, 16 more deserving dogs began the next chapter of their journey as they headed to one of our incredible rescue partners in Iowa. From there, they’ll receive the love and care they deserve while they wait to be matched with their forever families.

Every transport is a reminder of why we do what we do. These dogs came from difficult situations, but today they left with full bellies, wagging tails, and a future filled with hope. ❤️

A huge thank you to our amazing fosters, volunteers, transport drivers, veterinary team, donors, and rescue partners who make days like this possible. It truly takes a village to save lives.

Today’s transport cost our rescue $1,500 to get these 16 dogs one step closer to their forever homes. If you’d like to help us continue saying “yes” to dogs in need and make future transports possible, any donation—big or small—is truly appreciated. Every dollar goes directly toward saving more lives. 🩷🐾
