🌊 **What a SPLASH-tastic day for Pack 468!** 🏊

Our Cub Scouts had an absolute blast at Swim Day! From learning important swim safety skills to building confidence in the water and practicing their swimming abilities, everyone had an amazing time.

We're especially proud to share that every Scout exceeded the requirements for their swimming adventure! 🎉 Their hard work, determination, and willingness to challenge themselves really shined today.

A huge thank you to our volunteers, leaders, and families who helped make this a safe, fun, and successful event. We can't wait for our next adventure!

FISHING FUN!

The scouts had a great time fishing yesterday. They learned about different types of fish, fishing and water safety, how to cast, how to secure a fishing hook, how to hold different fish while removing the hook, and that fishing requires patience. Several scouts caught fish and 1 even hooked a snapping turtle.

All the scouts finished the fishing adventure for their rank and earned 1 of 3 events required for the Summertime Fun adventure.

We look forward to seeing everyone on July 18th for the swimming adventure.

The Scouts had a great time camping this weekend at Cub-O-Ree 2026. Saturday they enjoyed BB, archery, and wrist rocket ranges along with flag etiquette, relay races, catapult building, and bottle rockets. They learned some USA flag history and how to properly take care of the flag. They also worked on team work and good sportsmanship. Overall it was a successful weekend where the Scouts gained knowledge while having fun. Some of them also got to see the many wild animals that call Camp Karankawa home.
