Carl was a founding member of the Historical Society and graduated Pearland HS in 1948

Carl Edgar Talbot passed away Sunday, January 25, 2026. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jennie Forbes Talbot his parents Tully and Essie Talbot two brothers and three sisters. Left to cherish his memory are his son Rick Talbot and wife Hilda grandchildren Kelly Ingrando and husband

Just in case any of you are interested in the Old Settlers Cemetery and some good adult beverages.... here are some informational tours.

Most are sold out, but thought i'd send this out!

Hops and History tours with Vallenson's and Visit Pearland (convention and visitors bureau).

The dates and hours are:
Saturday, October 18: 6, 7 & 8 p.m. tours
Friday, October 24: 6,7 & 8 p.m. tours

• The Society meets quarterly. The next meeting Oct 16th at 7pm.

• The Society has an annual luncheon. This year it is Oct 18th. You can reserve a table for your family and friends, or sit at any available table. Socializing is FREE! Lunch (optional) and is catered by Central Texas BBQ, and is $25.

( My favorite part is hearing the seniors talk about sports and pranks back in the 40/50s. Definitely hard to imagine those days, but the stories are awesome!)
