AISD is home to many impressive student-athletes—but it’s not just their skills on the field that make them stand out. It’s who they are when the game is over: respectful students, dedicated volunteers, and leaders in their schools and communities.
After the success of the inaugural award ceremony last year, the AIMS Awards is back to put a well-deserved spotlight on students who lead with integrity, serve others, commit to excellence, and help build a positive, winning culture—the four pillars of AISD Athletics.
“These awards allow us to recognize the incredible impact our athletes have on their campuses and in their communities,” said Associate Athletic Director Carla Newsom. “We’re proud to honor their hard work, heart, and leadership.”
Finalists from every sport have been chosen, along with nominees for special honors like Beyond the Game, Comeback Athlete of the Year, and Scholar Athlete of the Year.
